Billy Sosebee

Mr. Billy Sosebee age 87 of Talmo, Ga. Died Thursday, April 28, 2022 at his home. Funeral services are scheduled for 3 pm Sunday May 1, 2022 at the Talmo Baptist Church, Talmo, Ga. the Rev. Mark Spence will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday April 30, 2022 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8pm. Mr. Sosebee was a native and lifetime resident of Jackson County Georgia, a member of Talmo Baptist Church and was married to the late Bobbie Nell Underwood Sosebee. Mr. Sosebee was involved in the poultry business most all his life, He owned and operated his own poultry farm, was a salesman for Meyn Industries, worked for Dutch Quality and Supervised for Mar-Jac Poultry. In addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his daughter, Debbie Puckett, brother, J.C. Sosebee, 3 sisters, Hazel Burns, Mary Nell Sorrells and Geneva Beatty.

Survivors include, daughter, Jackie Cooper, son and daughter in law, B.J. and Jennifer Sosebee, brother, W.T. Sosebee, sister, Rhonda Sosebee Boswell, dear friend, Brenda Shoemake, grandchildren, Lew Puckett, Scott Puckett, Beth and Frank Wimberly, Johnathan Cooper, Katie Sosebee and J.T. Sosebee, great grandchildren, Nathan Puckett, Emily Puckett, Gracie Puckett, Lauren McMillan, Kristin McMillan, David Guthrie, Joni Wimberly as well as many other relatives and friends.
