Christopher John Gilreath

Christopher John Gilreath, 40, of Gainesville, GA passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 20, 2022.  He was born in Irving, TX to Linda Burt and the late J.C. Gilreath.  He worked as a over the road trucker for over 13 years.  He loved fishing, grilling, and cooking for family and friends.  He was a loving husband, father, and son.

He is preceded in death by his stepfather, James Burt.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Ashley Gilreath of Gainesville, GA; daughter, Summer Gilreath of Gainesville, GA; mother, Linda Burt of Gainesville, GA; mother in law, Diane and Ronnie Bozeman of Spruce Pine, NC; aunts, Ann Hendrix of Alabama, Patricia and Floyd Harris of Alabama; sister in law and brother in law, LaDonna and Rusty Hall of Dahlonega, GA; nephew, Keith Hall of Dahlonega, GA; and numerous other relatives also survive. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
