Ms. Bernice Elizabeth Stephens, 62, of Commerce, passed away Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Peek, Rev. Thomas Holmes and Rev. Chris Flowers will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Saturday, April 30, 2022 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on May 23, 1959 in Gainesville, she was the daughter of the late Ralph Lando Stephens and the late Ruby Anglin Stephens. She was retired from Kings Delight where she worked in quality assurance. Ms. Stephens was a member of the Braselton Church of God of Prophecy, where she was director of Children’s Church.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Stephens was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Stephens; granddaughter, Angel Stephens and brothers in law, Chub Sullens, Danny Dyer; and sister in law, Joan Stephens.
Ms. Stephens is survived by her daughter and son in law, Crystal and Jody Stone of Commerce; son, Todd Stephens of Commerce; special nieces and nephews, Amy and Jay Cates of Hoschton, Cindy and Jimmy Sorrow of Commerce; sister, Mary Sullens of Dahlonega; sister and brother in law, Kathy and Glenn Crane of Braselton; brother, Ralph Stephens of Dahlonega; sister, Clara Dyer of Gillsville; brother and sister in law, Carl and Wanda Stephens of Lula; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
