Alvin Dean Fowler

Alvin Dean Fowler, 58 of Gainesville died Saturday April 23, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center-Gainesville Campus.

A lifelong resident of Hall County, Dean was self-employed as a carpenter.  He was a graduate of North Hall High School Class of 1982 and was of the United Methodist faith.

Survivors include his sons and daughters-in-law, Ethan and Lacy Fowler, Cleveland, Ga., Cory and Amanda Ledford, Hiawassee, Ga., mother, Mary Woody, Gainesville, Ga., sister, Beth Bullock, Athens, Ga., brother and sister-in-law, Chuck and Kim Fowler, Murrayville, Ga., grandsons, Gunner Fowler, Karter Fowler, both of Cleveland, Ga., Reese Crowder and Grayson Ledford, both of Hiawassee, Ga., a number of nieces, nephews and other family members also survive.

Dean is preceded in death by his father, Charles Lee Fowler, Sr., step father, James A. Woody, Sr.,  and brother, Danny Lee Fowler.

Memorial services will be held Saturday April 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Little & Davenport Funeral Home.  Rev. Ken Grindle will officiate.  The family will receive friends at the Little & Davenport Funeral Home  Saturday from 12:00 p.m. until the funeral hour.
