Mary Anna “Maryann” Sacha Teasley

Mrs. Mary Anna “Maryann” Sacha Teasley, age 96 of Terrace Drive, Toccoa passed away Thursday, April 21, 2022 at her residence.

A daughter of the late August Frederick Carl Sacha and Marjorie Isabell Hefley Smith, she was born December 25, 1925 in Litchfield, Illinois. Before moving to Toccoa in 1970, she had lived in Tacoma, Washington, Virginia Beach, Virginia and Statesville, North Carolina.  She was a homemaker but during the war, she had worked with Boeing.  She was a longtime member of Allen’s United Methodist Church and a member of the Stephens County Hospital Auxiliary for 30 years.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Gary Sacha and Bill Sacha.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Jamie Ann Bailey and Terry of Toccoa; two sons and daughter-in-law, Harold and Donna Teasley of Toccoa and Dennis Teasley of Florida; grandchildren, Andy Richards, Leslie Martin, Dennis Ryan Teasley and Leah Ivester Nadeau; eight great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at Allen’s United Methodist Church with The Reverend Paul Garner officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Harold Teasley, Dennis Teasley, Chad Hudson, Kevin Roberts, Shane Simmons and Paul Eubanks.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow in the Allen’s United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Maryann Teasley.
