Danny Hubert Mulkey

Danny Hubert Mulkey, 69, of Dawsonville, GA passed away at his home on Saturday, April 23, 2022.  Danny loved to be outdoors, hunting, fishing, and gardening.  His favorite pastime was being with his grandchildren and family.  He was a loving father and grandfather that will be missed by all. 

He is preceded in death by his mother, Frances Mulkey; sister, Joyce Smallwood.

He is survived by his children,  Jason D. (Angela) Mulkey, Sr. of Jasper, GA, Pricilla (Dan) Abernathy of Cleveland, GA, Melinda Kay Sullens of Dawsonville, GA; grandchildren, Austin Jones, Daniel Mulkey, Zack Mulkey, Nick Mulkey, Tosh Ross, Aaron Jones, Quint Abernathy, Ashlyn Abernathy, Devin Abernathy, Dax Abernathy, Austin Sullens, Patrick Sullens; brother, Jerry (Bonnie) Mulkey of Dawsonville, GA; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members also survive.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Bearden Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Joshua Mulkey officiating. Interment will follow the funeral at Sweetwater Baptist Church, Dawsonville, GA.

The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2022 from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
