Scott Dwayne Richards

Scott Dwayne Richards born 12/15/1971 in Cumming, Ga died 04/20/2022 at 50 years old.

He is survived by his mother and father David and Joyce Richards, his middle sister Holly Barfield, brother-in-law Brian Barfield, youngest sister Victoria Anderson, brother-in-law Matthew Anderson, and nieces and nephew Riley Barfield, Sean Barfield, Kaylee Anderson, Evelyn Anderson, and Eleanor Anderson.

He worked for Southern Landscaping as a driver for 7 years. He enjoyed riding his Harley with the Pathfinders, UGA games, and hunting. He loved those he considered family including Lessie Konarik, Cliff Day, and their children Cayden Day, Colton Day, and Carson Day. He was loved and will be missed.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Sunday April 24, 2022 at Bethelview United Methodist Church with Rev. Keith Murray and Rev. Justin Combs officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
