Gabriel Merced

Mr. Gabriel Merced, age 81 of Buford, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., Friday, April 22, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Minister Juan Merced will officiate.  The family will receive friends 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Merced was born March 24, 1941 to the late Victor Merced Vasquez and Felicita Santiago in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico.  A member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, he was retired from Primex Plastics, where he worked as a Machine Operator for 25 years.

He is survived by his wife, Neomi De Jesus - Herra Merced; children, Carlos Ruben Merced, Wanda Ivette Merced McNerney & Joe McNerney, Gilberto Merced and Juan Merced & Karly Elizabeth Merced; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; siblings, Petrona Santiago, Victor Merced, Andre Merced, Luz Maria Merced and Juan Merced; and several nieces & nephews.
