Neal Edward Simpson

Mr. Neal Edward Simpson, 81, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2022 following an extended illness.

A Graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Thursday, April 21, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Kevin Jenkins will officiate.  The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.

Born on February 2, 1941 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Edward Lee Simpson and the late Beulah Evelyn Peebles Simpson. He was retired from AT&T and was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Simpson is survived by his wife of 61 years, Wilma Deloris Lunsford Simpson of Gainesville: son, Ryan Neal Simpson (wife Patti). Daughter Robin Ann Jenkins (husband Kevin),

Grandchildren Drew Jenkins (wife Kirsten), Kaitlyn Jenkins Westmoreland (husband Caleb), Abby Jenkins McKay (husband Josh), Anna Jenkins Massey (husband Houston). Great Grandchildren Mercy, Titus, Adelyn, and Simon Neal Jenkins; Waverly and William Westomoreland. Charlotte McKay. Also Survived by Sister Nancy Williams.
