Louise LeCroy Crawford, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
She was born on January 16, 1930. She was a resident of Toccoa, Georgia and was a life-long member of Allen’s United Methodist Church in Red Hill, Georgia. Louise retired from Coats and Clark as a stenographer in August of 1991. She loved working in her yard especially growing beautiful flowers and cutting her grass. She married the love of her life, Jimmy, on May 31, 1953 and they were married for 43 years until the time of his death in 1996. Louise was known simply as Nana to her family, and they will fondly remember her cooking, her laughs, and most importantly, her love.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Terrell Crawford; her parents Hiriam Roscoe (H.R.) and Mable Love (Stephenson) LeCroy; her brothers and sisters Jewell LeCroy, Ruth Pabst (Laverne), Nell Addison (Doyle), Roscoe LeCroy (Marguerite), Sue Spears (Marshall), Bill LeCroy, and Steve LeCroy (Betty Singleton).
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Joan Crawford Beggs and Benny Beggs, of Toccoa, Georgia; grandson, Jason Burton (Lauren) of Wrens, Georgia; her great-grandchildren, Jared Burton and Sydney Burton, both of Wrens, Georgia; her sister, Jean Bailey (Turner) of Toccoa, Georgia; sister-in-law Betty Payne LeCroy of Carnesville, Georgia; brother-in-law Jack Crawford (Frances) of Toccoa, Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 19th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Acre-Davis Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be on Wednesday, April 20th at 11:00 a.m. at the Allen’s United Methodist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jason Burton and Rev. Paul Garner officiating.
