Mary Nell Scroggs

Ms. Mary Nell Scroggs, age 77, of Colbert, GA died Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center.  Ms. Scroggs was born in Commerce to the late Victor and Flora Nix Garrett.  She was retired from Walmart.

Ms. Scroggs is survived by her husband, William D. Bowles of Colbert; son, Dana Chandler of Nicholson; daughter, Vicky Povolny of Commerce; sisters, Doris Poole, Linda Barber, Ann Fields and Joyce Harrison all of Nicholson; and brother, Ralph Garrett of Athens.

Funeral services will be at 2 PM, Friday, April 8 at the chapel of Little-Ward Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Wells officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from noon until 2 PM.
