John Drewery Bynum

Mr. John Drewery Bynum, age 83, of Flowery Branch passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center – Braselton, surrounded by his family.

Graveside Services will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 8, 2022 at Memorial Park South Cemetery. 

Mr. Bynum was born December 1, 1938 to the late Charles & Lillie Mae Bynum in Wink, Texas.  A Veteran of the United States Navy, he retired from Mayflower Trucking, where he was a Truck Driver.  He was a loving husband to My Margie and My 3 Daughter’s.

John is survived by his daughters, Jodie & Stephen Maher, Cindy Broch and Marla Zirker; grandchildren, Nicole Becker, Brandon Maher, Patrick Maher, Michael Broch, Kristen Smith, Daniel Bynum, Megan Zirker and Travis Zirker; great-grandchildren, Savannah Grace Poutney, Xander Edward Broch, Amelia Gabriella Scott, Frank Jerel McReynolds, Willie Frank McReynolds, Caleb Daniel Bynum and Jaxson Myles Smith; and sister, Zellda Morris.  He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Margaret Helen Bynum; parents; and brother, William Henry Bynum.
