Brant D. Erickson

Brant D. Erickson, age 50, of Flowery Branch, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2022. Brant was born on January 21, 1972 in Fort Collins, Colorado. 

His family relocated from Springfield, Pennsylvania to Lilburn/Stone Mountain, Georgia in 1984, where Brant graduated from Parkview High School in 1991. He then attended Georgia Southern University and graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Brant served 24 years in law enforcement beginning as a State Trooper for the Georgia State Patrol, Specialized Collision Reconstruction Team and lastly serving as the Police Chief for the City of Pendergrass, Georgia. Throughout his career in law enforcement Brant continued specialized training and received many accolades for his achievements and dedication. He was honored and proud to serve on the President's Detail for President George Bush.

Brant was a family man and treasured time spent with his beloved wife, Jennifer Erickson; son, McCullough (Mac) Erickson and stepson’s, Grayson and Ethan Graham. Some of their fondest memories were fishing and spending time on the beach at Dog Island, Florida. He loved visiting his parents, Robert and Barbara Erickson in Colorado where they enjoyed hiking together in the Rocky Mountains and capturing its majestic beauty. He cherished his twin sister, Ann Cobb (Jeff), and his older brother, Reid Erickson (Christina), and his niece and nephews. Brant also had a deep love for animals especially his dog, (Bear) and his 3 cats (Flea, Gizzy and Lilly).

Brant had a big heart and a serious loyalty to those who were dear to him. He was fun loving with a great sense of humor and a smile that would light up the room. He had a willingness to help anyone who needed anything. He will truly be missed by all who loved him.  

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date with family and close friends.
