Claire Lillian Aitcheson Panetta

Claire Lillian Aitcheson Panetta, age 86 of Demorest, Georgia passed away on Saturday, April 02, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

Born in San Francisco, California on September 05, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Arthur & Kaye Nelson Aitcheson. Claire was a graduate of Castlemont High School in Oakland, California. Over her business career, she was employed by Anchor Hocking, MacMillan Bloedel, and the Mortgage Bankers Association of Florida. In her spare time, Claire enjoyed being with her family and friends, quilting, sewing, painting, and reading. She was an avid volunteer and board member for Sharing & Caring Place for over 14 years, and was an active member of St. Mark Catholic Church in Clarkesville.

Survivors include her loving husband, Donald Panetta; children, Steve Panetta, Larry Panetta, Constance Everett, & John Panetta; grandchildren, Alexandria Everett, Matt Panetta, Syd Coalla, & Carr Panetta; great-grandchild, Kohen Byrd; other relatives, & cherished friends.

A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 06, 2022 at St. Mark Catholic Church with Father Jose Luis Hernandez-Ayala officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
