Antonio Anthony Joseph Sanseverino

Mr. Antonio Anthony Joseph Sanseverino, 96, of Gainesville passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at The Oaks at Limestone.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Born on Saturday, July 18, 1925 in Lexington, MA, he was the son of the late Gennaro and Palmina De Venezia Sanseverino. Mr. Sanseverino proudly served his country during World War II, and was taken as a prisoner of war, serving in the United States Army. He retired from the United Postal Service and then he and his wife began catering. He was an executive chef.

Mr. Sanseverino is survived by his wife of 73 years, Helen McDonald Sanseverino of Gainesville; daughters, Carol Ann Sullivan of Gainesville, Eileen Helen Newman of Gainesville; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.
