Betty Sue Lusk Culpepper

Mrs. Betty Sue Lusk Culpepper age 79 of Carnesville passed away Friday April 1, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Ralph and Cleo Frances Smith Lusk, she was born May 4, 1942 in Stephens County, Georgia where she lived most of her life. She loved her grandchildren and time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and going out to eat. She was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by two brothers Thomas and Jim Lusk.

Survivors include her husband of sixty three years David Culpepper, daughters and son-in-law Tammy Culpepper of Florida and Lisa and Bruce Bolmen of Carnesville, two sons and daughter-in-law Stan and Bridgett Culpepper of Toccoa and Rusty Culpepper of Carnesville, five grandchildren Dillon Culpepper, Blake Culpepper, Bridgett Ramsey, Kimberlee Zoll and Victoria Zoll, two great-grandchildren Brayden and Bristol Ramsey, a sister Pat Martin of Eastanollee and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 6, 2022 at 2 P.M. at Liberty Baptist Church with the Reverend Stacy Penland and the Reverend Jewell Gaines officiating. The family will be at the home and will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 P.M. til 8 P.M.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers Tim Culpepper, Smitty Culpepper, Brayden Ramsey, Brad Bolmen, Gary Higgins and Stacy Gunn.

Interment will follow in New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery.
