Mr. Charles Royce Cagle, 89, of Lula passed away Sunday, March 27, 2022 at Bell Minor Home following an extended illness.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Rev. Bradley Elliott will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Born on December 17, 1932 in Gainesville, he was the son of the late Roy and Marzelle Baugh Cagle. Mr. Cagle was a proud veteran who served in the 23rd Infantry United States Army. He was retired from General Motors and was a member of White Hall Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Cagle was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Cagle and sister, Velma Cagle Waldrep
Mr. Cagle is survived by his daughter and son in law, Regina and Windsel Martin of Gainesville; daughter, April Cagle Mooney of Gainesville; grandchildren, Nathan Martin (Anita), Natasha Mitchell (Jason), Taylor Mooney, Addison Mooney; great granddaughters, Marley Martin, Audrey Martin; great grandsons, Easton Martin, Laken Martin; niece and nephew, Teresa and Darrin Waldrep; son in law, Brian Mooney of Gainesville; special friends, Ron and Donna Lawson of Lula and several great nieces and nephews.
