Mr. William Sidney Jarrett, age 79 of Mize Road, Toccoa, GA, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at his residence surrounded by his loving family and friends.
A son of the late Hubert and Fannie Jordan Jarrett, he was born March 6, 1943 in Stephens County where he lived all of his life. He retired from Coats & Clark with 25 years of service, he was a member of Tates Creek Baptist Church he also enjoyed dirt track racing. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Robert Jarrett and a son Mark Jarrett.
Survivors include his wife Elizabeth Grafton Jarrett of the home, son and daughter-in-law Scott and Jenny Jarrett of Toccoa, grandchildren Chloe Jarrett, Luke Ramsey and Logan Ramsey, a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 3 PM Monday, March 28, 2022 at the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home wit the Reverend Luke Ramsey and the Reverend Jerrell Beatty officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from Noon until the funeral hour. The following will serve as pallbearers: Logan Ramsey, Roger Ramsey, Stan Crisp, Ray Jordan, Tom Jarrett and Jason Grafton.
The family would like to give special thanks to the kind and caring staff of Amedisys Hospice and to Karel Grafton for all her kind help.
Interment will be in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of arrangements for Mr. Sid Jarrett.
