Timothy Jackson “Chip” Gosnell

Timothy Jackson “Chip” Gosnell, age 59 of Clarkesville, passed away March 11, 2022.

Born in Rochester, Indiana on June 11, 1962, Chip was the son of the late Raymond D. and Laura Jane Morris Gosnell.  Chip was chicken grower for Fieldale Farms at the Blue Creek Farm.  He was an avid outdoorsman and a history buff.  He enjoyed spending times combing through creek banks looking for Indian pottery and relics.  Chip was a simple man who kept to himself; he liked to listen to music and have a good time and he enjoyed playing spades and poker.  In addition to his parents Chip is preceded in death by five siblings.

Survivors include his wife Rhonda Dills Gosnell of Clarkesville, sons Ricky Lee Gosnell (fiancé Lisa Jenkins) of Westminster, SC, Dennis Lee Kastner of Mt. Airy, and Daniel James Kastner (partner Chris Kirby) of Buford, daughter Maleah Gosnell of Clarkesville, grandchildren Ricky Lee Gosnell, Jr., Gavin Jack Gosnell, Braylen Gosnell, and Justin Bryson, seven brothers, four sisters, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
