Frances Delene Ferguson Farmer

Mrs. Frances Delene Ferguson Farmer, age 92 of Summer Hill Drive, Toccoa passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center.

A daughter of the late Robert Ferguson and Sallie Elliott Ferguson, she was born December 24, 1929 in Bernice, Louisiana, having lived most of her life in Louisiana and the past nine years in Toccoa.  She was retired from Bell South Corporation and was a member of Toccoa First Baptist Church.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Farmer and by a son, Robert Shaver.

Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Becky Shaver of Toccoa; grandchildren, Stephanie and Joseph O’Kelley of Commerce, Georgia and Brian and Sandra Shaver of Puerto Rico; four great-grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 18, 2022, 4 o’clock p.m. in the Hillcrest Chapel of Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend David Ritcey officiating.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Joseph O’Kelley, Jacob Haynie, Dale Rouser, Brooks Haynie and Griffin Haynie.

Interment will follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Francs Delene Ferguson Farmer.
