Susan Rena Phagan

Mrs. Susan Rena Phagan, age 61 of Lavonia, GA, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 at her residence.

A daughter of the late Delma Cecil Phagan, Sr. and Jo Westmoreland Phagan, she was born January 23, 1961 in Stephens County and has lived the last 25 years in Franklin, County.  Susan was a member of the Rock Creek Baptist Church; she loved hosting family gatherings and spending time with grand kids and her dogs.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her brother Delma “Sonny” Phagan.

Survivors include the love of her life Phil Rice of the home a daughter Brooke (Heath) Stonecypher of Eastanollee, GA, grandchildren, Eli, Seth and Ella Jo, sister Angie (Marty) Loyd of Toccoa, brother Ricky (Debi) Phagan of Norfolk, VA, sister-in-law Deborah Phagan, a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
