Ethel Louise Benefield

Ethel Louise Benefield, 98, a lifelong resident of Forsyth County passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022. Ethel was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a great cook known for her wonderful pies. Ethel enjoyed flowers, gardening and traveling. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Ivan Benefield.

Survivors include her children, Jimmy and Sheryl Benefield, Louise Tallant, Frances and Larry Crum; grandchildren, Jennifer and Paul Hamby, Todd and Becky Benefield, Brandon and Kim Benefield, Matt and Shelly Tallant, Travis and Sallie Tallant, James Carlton Crum; great grandchildren, Grant Benefield, Kaylee Benefield, Tate Benefield, Sawyer Benefield, Parker Ray, Campbell Ray, Sharon Tallant, Brody Tallant, Trent Tallant, Madelyn Tallent; sisters, Marie Pruitt and Sarah Howard.

Graveside funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, at 3:00 pm at Haw Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Carrel Pruitt and Rev. Cecil Pruitt officiating.
