Charlie Frank Morrison

Charlie Frank Morrison, 78 of Dahlonega passed away on March 7th, 2022. 

A very special man of strong faith in The Lord Jesus Christ and loved by so many is now greatly missed for he entered his heavenly home on March 7th, 2022 at 11:11pm/ The following song he wrote has become reality for him…

”There’s a place that I know and someday I will go where the waters run pure and clean. Where wars are never heard of and drugs you’ll never see, in this place called God’s Country. 

Harps play music to the soul and streets are paved with gold, but to you this may seem like a dream. But your heart will never fail you there and love will always be, in this place called God’s Country.

Oh what love will be on that land for every born again woman and man, for every color that walks and for every child that cries….No more hunger no more strife only living God’s way of life, oh what a great day it will be when I say….

I’m standing in God’s Country yes I am, God’s Country yes I am, Oh what a feeling to stand on His great land…”

-And we can almost see him now walking the streets of glory. What a blessing for him it must be. He’s gone to be with the Lord. He’s finally free from this old world. The angels and loved one’s were there to welcome him in, and we know one day we will see him again……

Charlie’s family will receive friends on Friday March 11, 2022 at Dahlonega Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm.  Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 12, 2022 at 2pm at Dahlonega Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Dahlonega Memorial Park.
