Jack was born February 27, 1944 in Rossville, Georgia to the late William Earl & Claudia Mae Osborn Hicks. He worked at SKF for a number of years. For 39 years he pastored numerous churches all over Northeast Georgia. He was a devoted Christian, husband, father and grandfather. 

 

Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife of 57years, Gaye Hicks; sons, Rob (Georgiann) Hicks & Joe (Emily) Hicks; grandchildren, Sheree (Jeremy) Bagwell, Shay (Logan) Owensby, Bailey Hicks, Bennett Hicks & Blakely Hicks; great grandchildren, AnnieLee, Paisley, Berklee, Deacon & Chezlee; brothers, Buddy (JoAnn) Hicks & Bill Hicks; sister, Jody Poindexter; a host of other relatives also survive. 

 

Funeral services honoring Pastor Jack will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday March, 10, 2022 at the Ward’s Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Denny Williams & Pastor Nathan Nix officiating. Burial will follow in the Yonah View Memorial Gardens, Cleveland with Brother Charles Stephens officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until service time on Thursday march 10, 2022 at the funeral home.
