Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Hagwood Phillips, age 77 of Bethlehem, Georgia who entered rest Saturday, March 6, 2022. Mrs. Phillips was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia the daughter of the late Jack and Lucille Smith Hagwood. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and of the Baptist Faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Phillips is preceded by a daughter, Tammy Sullivan, and brothers, Teddy, Leroy, Royce, and Wayne Hagwood.
Survivors include her husband, Robert D. Phillips of Bethlehem, two sons, Jason Phillips of Bethlehem, and Robbie Phillilps of Snellville. Daughter, Kelly Boner (Randy) of Madison. Brother, Terry Hagwood (Marie) of Maysville. Eight grandchildren, Shawn, Alicia, Tessa, Danielle, Alan, Ashley, Haley, and Austin. Thirteen great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 10, 2022, from the Pond Fork Baptist Church with Reverend Chris Hulsey and Reverend Terry Hagwood officiating with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. Gentlemen honored as pallbearers are Alan Partain, Shawn Phillips, Austin Boner, Ethan Phillips, Riley Shoemake, Avery Withrow, Justin Martin, and Gavin Phillips. The family will receive friends 4:00 – 8:00 P.M., Wednesday, March 9, 2022.
