Ernest Ray Maready

Mr. Ernest Ray Maready, age 79, of Flowery Branch passed away Friday, March 4, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by family.

Graveside Services will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Memorial Park South Cemetery.  Rev. Keith Kirkland will officiate.  The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 6, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Mr. Maready was born November 1, 1942 to the late Charlie Blaine & Mertie Williford Maready.  He was retired from Flavor Rich, where he was a mechanic.

Mr. Maready is survived by son, Edward Dale Surcy of Commerce; daughters, Betty Faye Capes of Flowery Branch and Linda Gale Maready of Commerce; 7 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Geraldine Maready; and son, Marion Ray Maready.
