Mrs. Catherine Ann McCarson, age 87 of Flowery Branch, passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022 at New Horizons.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. McCarson was born August 22, 1934 to the late Jameson & Florence Garrett in Hiawassee, Georgia. She was of the Baptist faith and a retired lead seamstress with Stitchcraft. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed cooking. Heaven gained a special mom, who will be truly missed.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Debbie & Larry Garner; grandchildren, Jamie Garner (Steven) Lind, Chris & Hannah Garner; great-grandchildren, Avery Lind, Adeline Lind, and Amelia Garner; and 2 nephews, Kent (Glynise) Mooney & children, and Sean (Samantha) Mooney & children.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Rev. William Bennett and second husband, Rev. Jay McCarson.
