Rollin Dale Opland

Mr. Rollin Dale Opland age 86 of Dahlonega, Ga passed away on Friday March 04, 2022 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center following an extended illness.      

Funeral services are scheduled for Sunday March 06, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home with internment to follow in Chapel of Memories Mausoleum in Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Clarence Reynolds and Pastor Pierce Ashmore will officiate. The family will receive friends on Sunday March 06, 2022 from 1:00-2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Rollin was born on October 08, 1935 in Dell Rapids, South Dakota to the late Carl Opland and Pearl Sundal Opland. He was retired from Metal Mart where he was a Sales Manager and was a member of Community Chapel in Dahlonega, Ga. He is preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Norma Stenberg, Marlo Opland, and Raymond Opland.

Mr. Opland is survived by his wife of 64 years, Amy Opland of Dahlonega, son and daughter-in-law, Kevin Opland(Karlene) of Aylett, Virginia, son and daughter-in-law, Keith Opland (Tami) of Marietta, Ga, daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly Smith (Garret) of Kenosha, Wisconsin, 7 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and a host of other close family and friends.
