Willene Mayfield Hollis

Willene Mayfield Hollis, age 76, of Gainesville, GA passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2022. She was preceded in death by husband, Bobby Joe Hollis; parents, James L and Ethel Sue Nix Mayfield; sisters, Judy, Ellene, Ethelene, Janice; and brother, Douglas Mayfield. Mrs. Hollis is survived by children, Anthony and Carol Tatum of Clermont, GA, and Lowanda Hollis of Jefferson, GA; grandchildren, Austin, Justin, Allen, and Dana; great grandchildren, Alex, Hayden, Andleigh, Paisley, Allie Ann, Alissa, Aaron, Alexus, Austin; sister, Betty Loving (Dewey) of Buford, GA; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Hollis was born on February 8, 1946 in Cumming, GA. She received her education at Sugar Hill School, and was a retired cashier from Golden Pantry in Gainesville. She attended Buford Church of God. A joint Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home with Chaplain Jane Westerfield officiating.  Interment will follow at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens in Buford. The family will receive friends from 3:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 6, 2022 at the funeral home.
