George "Tommy" Haley

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. George “Tommy” Haley, age 57 of Lula, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, March 2, 2022.  Mr. Haley was born in Greenville, Kentucky a son of the late George Combs Haley and the late Judy Mae Oliver Pursley, was a member of Cornerstone Tabernacle and was the Owner -Operator of Automotive Service and Performance.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Haley is preceded by a daughter, Tiffany Haley Williams.

Survivors include his wife, Peggy Sue Garrett Haley of Lula.  Son, Preston Thomas of Lula, daughter Taylor Thomas of Kentucky.  Two sisters, Deborah Henricks and Lisa Rogers of Kentucky.  Sisters and brothers in laws, Belinda Staples (Frog) and Phyllis Harris (Steve) all of Kentucky.  Son in law Bryan Williams of Flowery Branch.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022, from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens.  The family will receive friends 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
