Carson E. Neidlinger

Evans Funeral Home of Jefferson announces the death of Mr. Carson E. Neidlinger, age 72 of Hoschton, Georgia who entered rest Wednesday, March 2, 2022.  Mr. Neidlinger was born in Millen, Georgia a son of the late Norman Joseph and Louise Blackburn Neidlinger.  Mr. Neidlinger was of the Baptist Faith and was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator with Dekalb County.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Neidlinger is preceded by three brothers and two sisters. 

Survivors include his wife of forty-seven years, Cindy Bird Neidlinger of Hoschton.  Two daughters, Dawn Michelle Sims (Steve) of Danielsville, Amy Louise Hernandez (Aaron) of Jasper.  One son, Christopher D. Neidlinger (Katrina) of Royston.  Grandchildren, Ashley Griffeth, Mason Sims, Courtney Sims, Gracie Sims, Catalina Hernandez, Camilla Hernandez and the seventh on the way. One great grandchild, Amelia Griffeth.  Five sisters, Carolyn Joyner of Sylvania, Regina Dixon of Jefferson, Rosie Nelson of Sardis, Linda Gail Bailey of Milledgeville and Sheri Stevens of Waynesboro.  Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Funeral services will be held 4:00 P.M. Saturday, March 5, 2022 from the Chapel of Evans Funeral Home with burial to follow in Evans Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends 2:00 – 4:00 P.M. Saturday prior to the service at Evans Funeral Home.
