Cora Sue Mize

Mrs. Cora Sue Mize, 84, of Gainesville passed away Monday, February 28, 2022 at Bell Minor Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2022 in the Parlor of Memorial Park Funeral Home.

Born on August 22, 1937 in Elbert County, she was the daughter of the late Leo Burton and Catherine DuBose. She was retired from the poultry industry and of the Jehovah Witness faith.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mize was preceded in death by her sister, Gladyes Burton and brother, Nathan Burton both of Gainesville.

Mrs. Mize is survived by her sisters, Barbara Jean Jones, Queenie Jones both of Gainesville and brother, Osavelt Burton of Gainesville and a host of nieces and nephews.
