Sandra Lee "Sandy" Gum

Sandra Lee “Sandy” Gum, age 67, of Sugar Hill, GA, passed away on Sunday, February 27, 2022.  She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas B. Luke and brother, Gary Luke.  Mrs. Gum is survived by her husband Richard Gum of Sugar Hill, Ga; daughter, Shawne Gum of Lyons, GA; grandchildren, Andrew Bush and Sidney Bush, both of Dawnsonville, GA; great-grandchild, Eliza Bush of Dawsonville, GA; mother, Beverley Luke of Buford, GA; sister, Cindie Mauldin of Gainesville, GA; brothers, Mike Luke (Melanie) of Port Clinton, OH, Brian Luke (Elizabeth) of Houschton, GA, Jeffery Luke of Buford, GA; aunt, Donna Zimmerman of Minnesota; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mrs. Gum was born on August 10, 1954, in Canton, OH.  She graduated from Hoover High School, North Canton, OH, in 1972.  She has several jobs in her life, such as, working in catering at Lake Lanier Islands, Wendy’s in Buford, GA, and a staffing service in Gainesville, GA.  Mrs. Gum has lived in the Buford and Sugar Hill area for over 40 years.  No formal service is planned.  The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 5:00 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Flanigan Funeral Home.
