Dorothy Lynn Flowers

Ms. Dorothy Lynn Flowers, a project manager at Toshiba Corporation and a lifelong resident of Georgia, passed away at age 61 in Braselton, on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at her residence.

Ms. Flowers was born May 5, 1960 to the late James Johnathan III & Barbara Flowers in Atlanta, Georgia.  She was preceded in death by her son, Alex Flowers.  She is survived by her sister, Carol Laur of Flowery Branch, GA; brothers, Andrew Flowers of Flowery Branch, GA, and Jay Flowers of Austin, TX; and several nieces and nephews.

Lynn lived a life dedicated to her friends and family.  She was a lifelong friend to many and a second mother to her sisters’ children, Teresa and Andrew.  Lynn spent her time through the years playing soccer with her friends and family, and later became quite the avid poker player. 

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Memorial Park South Chapel. Rev. Donald McDuffie will officiate.  The family also has a visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.
