Robert Willard Jones

Mr. Robert Willard Jones, 82, of Cleveland passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Laurel Lodge.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 27, 2022 at Mt. Yonah Baptist Church. Rev. Andy Courson will officiate.

Born on August 2, 1939 in Scranton, PA, he was the son of the late Willard and Myrtle Price Jones. Mr. Jones was owner/operator of his own HVAC business. Mr. Jones was a member of Mt. Yonah Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was preceded in death by his daughter, Allison “Allie” Jones Kern and sister, Ame Lou Francis.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Virginia Glatz Jones of Cleveland; son and daughter in law, Robert “Bob” and Dameta Gilreath Jones of Gainesville; daughter and son in law, Ginger Jones and Ray Cowan of Baldwinsville, N.Y.; daughter and son in law, Carolee “Cara” and Steve Dill of Minrovia, MD; son in law, Aaron Kern of Ramsey, MN; grandchildren, Brian Jones, Leah Cowan Leubner, Kayla Cowan, Christopher Dill, Benjamin Dill, Heather Duren; 6 great grandchildren and a number of other loving relatives.      

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Mt. Yonah Baptist Church, 882 Asbestos Rd. Cleveland, GA 30528, or Allie Jones Kern Memorial Fund at Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks, P.O. Box 462, West Sand Lake, NY 12196
