Mildred Callie Carver

Mildred Callie Carver, age 78, of Gainesville passed away Monday, February 21, 2022.  Ms. Carver was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church in Gainesville.  She enjoyed crafts, listening to music, assembling puzzles and traveling. Survivors include her brothers Billy Ray Stephens and wife Ernestine of Gainesville, Homer Lee Stephens of Braselton, John William Stephens of Braselton; sisters Dorothy Mae Stephens Massey of Jefferson, Willie Jo Stephens Spriggs and late husband Robert of Gainesville, Virginia Stephens Marlow and late husband James of Gainesville, Martha Stephens Gooch and husband Wilburn of Braselton, Bobbie Ann Stephens Dowdle and husband Gary of Reynolds, Marie Coffee and Terry Hix of Hoschton; several nieces and nephews whom she loved and protected. She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence Woodrow and Mandy Lou Chambers Stephens; biological mother Mary Stephens; brother Clarence Stephens, Jr., sisters Helen Patricia Stephens Parks, Jeanette Stephens Cates and Linda Jo Coffee Long.  Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday, February 25, 2022 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Pastor Calvin  Gooch will be officiating.  Interment to follow at Memorial Park South Cemetery, Flowery Branch.  The family will receive friends 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, February 24, 2022 at Lawson Funeral Home Chapel.  Funeral arrangements by Lawson Funeral Home, 4532 Hwy 53, Hoschton, GA, 30548, lawsonfuneralhome.org, 706-654-0966.
