Charles Wayne Bryant

Mr. Charles Wayne Bryant, age 88, of Sautee Nacoochee, passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. 

Mr. Bryant was born in Dalton, GA to the late Floyd Newton and Ruby Dee Bryant. In addition to parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Joan Thomas; son, Charles Wayne Bryant, Jr.; and sisters, Betty Jo Farrell and Janelle Pinson.  He served his country in the US Navy, serving in the Korean War.  Mr. Bryant was a deputy director of Dekalb County Parks and a member of Bethel Baptist Church. 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Lisa Bryant, Martin, GA; son, Stephen Floyd Bryant, Dahlonega; grandchildren, Charles Bryant III (Michelle), Missy Bartlett (Ben), Eric Bryant, and Lindsey Bryant (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Anna Bryant (Jason Treadwell), Emma Bryant, Josiah Smith, Ezra Bryant, Alexis Bryant, Harlee Baker, Joanna Bartlett, Lydia Bartlett, Bailee Bryant and Brea Bryant; great-great grandchildren, Axel Treadwell and Julianna Treadwell; and brother, Kenneth Bryant, Loganville.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 Noon Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Bethel Baptist Church.  Rev. Robert Abernathy will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. 

The family will receive friends from 5-7 P.M. Friday, February 25, 2022 at the funeral home.
