Elisea Hernandez-Carbajal

Mrs. Elisea Hernandez-Carbajal, 99, of Gainesville, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at New Horizon’s Lanier Park.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Roberto Acuna and Pastor Oscar Gonzalez will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home on Friday, February 25, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Born on January 21, 1923 in Santa Barbara Amatepec, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late David Hernandez and the late Guadalupe Carbajal. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hernandez was preceded in death by her husband, Tiburcio Acuna and children, Rufino and Salvador.

Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her children, Efrain, Moises, Albertano, Martin, Elena, Demetria, Ester, Silvia, Santiago; 54 grandchildren; 90 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren, and a number of other loving relatives.

La Sra. Elisea Hernández-Carbajal, de 99 años, de Gainesville, falleció el sábado 19 de febrero de 2022 en el parque Lanier de New Horizon.

Los funerales se realizarán a las 12:00 horas. Sábado, 26 de febrero de 2022 en la Capilla de Memorial Park Funeral Home. El pastor Roberto Acuña y el pastor Oscar González oficiarán. Nacida el 21 de enero de 1923 en Santa Bárbara Amatepec, México, era hija del fallecido David Hernández y la fallecida Guadalupe Carbajal. Era ama de casa y de fe pentecostal. Además de sus padres, a la señora Hernández le precedieron en la muerte su esposo, Tiburcio Acuña y sus hijos, Rufino y Salvador.

A la señora Hernández le sobreviven sus hijos Efraín, Moisés, Albertano, Martín, Elena, Demetria, Ester, Silvia, Santiago; 54 nietos; 90 bisnietos, 12 tataranietos y varios otros parientes cariñosos.
