Lawrence Pilgrim

Lawrence Pilgrim, age 83 of Cleveland, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022.

Mr. Pilgrim was born September 22, 1938 in White County to the late Larry A. and Mary Lucile Brown Pilgrim. Lawrence was a lifelong resident of White County and was the owner and operator of Pilgrim Trucking. Lawrence enjoyed sharing his love of Idaho with everyone and was one of the founding members of The American Truck Historical Society Cleveland Chapter. He was a proud patriot and was a veteran of the United States Army Reserves. Lawrence had a true love for dancing, he could always be found at the dance hall on Saturday nights. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Lowell Pilgrim and step grandson Ethan Painter. 

Survivors include his wife of 38 years, Geneva Pilgrim; daughters and sons-in-law, Megan and John Broadway; Amanda and Chase Thomas; stepson and wife, Scott and Melissa Painter; grandchildren, Thomas Broadway, Rush Broadway, Lily Thomas; step granddaughter, Jessie Painter; brother and sister-in-law, Lambert and Brenda Pilgrim; sister-in-law, Joyce Pilgrim; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family also survive. 

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Monday, February 21, 2022 at The Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev. J.D. Sosebee, Rev. Marc Turner and Mr. Stanley Lawson will officiate. Interment will follow at Gateway Memory Park. 

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
