Betty Justus Beatty Robinson, 92 years old, of Gainesville, Georgia was called home to be with Jesus on February 16th, 2022 while residing at the Ashton Senior Living home. The immediate family will have a private graveside ceremony celebrating her life on Friday, February 25th at 10:00 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church.
Mrs. Robinson was born February 13, 1930 in Clayton, Georgia to the late Reverend Lex Jackson Justice and Della King Justus. She was retired from Lanier Park Hospital where she served as the switchboard operator for 25 years. Mrs. Robinson loved her Lord, family, and friends. She enjoyed walks in her neighborhood, watching the birds, reading, playing Solitaire, and spending quality time with her family. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and sing. She had a lasting impact on all who were blessed to know her, and she will be really missed.
Betty is proceeded in death by her parents Lex and Della Justus; her first husband James Ned Beatty, Sr.; her second husband John A. Robinson, Jr.; her sisters Bessie Parker, Bonnie Henson, Mildred Shirley, Bernice Latimer-Crowe, and Lucy Beard; her brothers D.A. Justus, Denver Justus, Donald Justus, and Thomas Denson Justus. She was the baby, and she was blessed with her many siblings.
Survivors include her son James Ned Beatty, Jr. (Shelley); two daughters Jamie Justice-Pittman (Jim), Joni Mooney (Paul); stepson Robby Robinson and stepdaughter Meme Robinson; grandchildren Josh Beatty, Anthony Beatty, Brittany Beatty, Sydney Beatty, Emily Garroutte, Greg Justice, Gina Davenport, Jeremy Mooney, Jenna Landis, Joey Mooney, John Robinson IV, Taryn Beatty, Jeannie Beatty Thomas, Joel Beatty, Jr., John Beatty, eighteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Her family would like to say a special thank you to the Compassus Hospice Service, her caregivers Laura Molina, Matilde Espinoza, Danielle Riley, and many others at the Ashton Senior Living facility who cared for her so well.
