Patrick Mark Redfern, of Cumming, GA, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at the age of 80. He was born on August 12, 1941, in St. Louis, MO and was preceded in death by his parents Orval and Rose Redfern, brothers Charles, Ron, and Rodger Redfern.
He is survived by his wife Rosalie Redfern of 58 years; brothers Jeffery (Margaret) Redfern and Gregory Redfern; his two children, Mark (Angela) Redfern, Chad Redfern and granddaughter Patricia Redfern; along with many other loving relatives and friends. Patrick served honorably in the U.S. Airforce, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Sales and Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He had a long and successful career in foodservice sales as an importer of Italian and Spanish foods. Many of his foodservice friends and associates called him the “Olive King”, because of his successful efforts to establish and grow the sales of Spanish olives in the U.S.
Patrick was best known by his friends and family for his love of good food, music, and well-timed jokes. A true storyteller and conversationalist, he would often entertain and captivate the room with stories of travels to far off destinations and interesting people he met. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A celebration of life service will be held at a later date in late spring/early summer, to be announced.
