Ricky D. Gravitt

Ricky D. Gravitt, age 68, of Flowery Branch, GA passed away on Monday, February 14, 2022.  He was preceded by his parents, Clarence and Dorothy R. Gravitt; brothers, Raymond Gravitt, jerry Gravitt, Bobby Gravitt; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Willene Haney.  He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cathy Haney Gravitt, Flowery Branch, GA; children, Josh Gravitt, Flowery Branch, GA, Joe Gravitt, Flowery Branch, GA, Jenni (Coe) Allen, Jefferson, GA; four grandchildren, Jonathan Norman, Emily Norman, Alivia Gravitt, Caled Allen; sister, Anita Gravitt, St. Mountain, GA; brothers, Michael (Kathy) Gravitt, Buford, GA, Barry (Tammy) Gravitt, Buford, GA, Marty (Denise) Gravitt, Gainesville, GA; aunt, Lillian Richardson Daniel, Flowery Branch, GA; nieces nephews, cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.  Mr. Gravitt was born January 3, 1954 in Buford, GA.  He was a 1972 graduate of North Gwinnett High School.  He was retired from the construction business where he installed interior trim work.  Mr. Gravitt was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church, Buford, GA. He enjoyed camping and fishing at Coopers Creek near Blairsville, GA.  He was also an avid Ga. Tech fan.  A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, February 19, 2022 in the Chapel of Flanigan Funeral Home, Buford, GA with Rev. Jerry Bennett officiating.  Interment will be at Broadlawn Memorial Gardens, Buford, GA with Rev. Mark Bottoms officiating.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday evening, February 18, 2022 at the funeral home.
