Mrs. Charlotte Marie Caudell Bowers, age 87 of Toccoa, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 13, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Mrs. Bowers was born in White County, Georgia on September 18, 1934 to the late Floyd and Floy Bell Caudell. She was a member of First Baptist Church and loved singing in the church choir. She worked for many years as a hairdresser and later as a travel agent at Ionosphere Travel Agency. She enjoyed traveling and wintering in Florida. Mrs. Bowers delighted in her children and grandchildren and treasured any time she could spend with them. She was a loving Wife, devoted Mother, adored Meme, and cherished friend to many.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bowers was preceded in death by her husband, Marion “Jack” Bowers, and sister, Carolyn.
Mrs. Bowers is survived by her daughters Rose Ann (Mark) Watson and Teresa (Dennis) Black; step-daughter Amelia (Bob) Price; step-son Marion “Jeff” Bowers; grandchildren, Chris (Rachel) Black, Mary (Budd) Keith, Grant (Rebecca) Watson, Ellen (Zo) Stanley, and Clay (Annalise) Black; step-grandchildren, Angela (Kevin) Currie, Wally (Lindsey) Price, Scott Bowers, and Kim Wolfert; 15 great-grandchildren; and other extended family members.
Graveside service will be Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 11 o’clock a.m. at Stephens Memorial Gardens with The Reverend David Ritcey officiating.
Interment to follow in the Stephens Memorial Gardens with the Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Charlotte Marie Caudell
