Pamela Johnson Scheuerman

Obituary Date: Thursday, February 10, 2022

Pamela Johnson Scheuerman of Gainesville, GA passed away on February 10, 2022.  Born in Smithfield, NC to Walter Edward Johnson and Lois Ferrell Johnson she was the youngest of two daughters.  Pam married Michael Scheuerman, of Sandy Springs, GA and they celebrated 49 wonderful years of marriage.  They were scheduled to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on May 12, 2022.

Pam grew up in Archers Lodge, NC and moved to Georgia in 1972.  Pam was the mother of two daughters, Deanna and Lisa.   After working in the arts for many years and dedicating herself to friends, family, and her work, she and Michael moved to Gainesville in 2015.  Pam took on a leadership role in her community and was an integral part of many concerts, and entertainment events.  She built strong friendships and relationships that she cherished; holding people close to her heart.

Some of her favorite things to do included traveling all over the world with her husband, attending concerts and spending time with her grandchildren.  Lovingly referred to as “YaYa” she was absolutely adored by her grandchildren.

Pam is survived by her loving husband, Michael L. Scheuerman; her two daughters P. Deanna O’Neil and Lisa S. Mann; her son-in-law Robert McIvor Mann Jr. and her grandchildren Thatcher M. Mann, Adelaide E. Mann, and Cordelia E. Mann.

Pam’s legacy will be the love, kindness, and friendship she gave to others and the impact she made on the lives of so many.  She was a compassionate, generous, and joyful woman.
