Edward Lee Bearden

Edward Lee Bearden, of Cumming, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2022 at the age of 76. He is proceeded in death by his daughter, Mary Glozier.

Edward is survived by his wife, Linda; sister Delores Bearden Nimmo; his children, Jennifer (Jay) Erickson, Ben (Laina) Rivers, and William Bearden; his granddaughters Sara, Caroline, Katie, Sally, and Lucy Erickson; and grandson, Nash Rivers.

Edward was born on January 19, 1946 to Hershel and Mary Lanett Bearden. Edward and Linda were wed in 1984.

Edward was a Vietnam Veteran. He worked for Eastern Airlines and Home Depot. After retiring in 2007, he enjoyed using his gifted ability to complete woodworking and mechanical projects around the house and for his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He loved taking his 1965 Mustang to car shows and had many trophies to show for it.

Edward will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.

The family will receive visitors at Ingram Funeral Home on Monday, February 14th, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. A funeral service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 15 at Ingram Funeral Home in Cumming.
