Brenda Roberts Goforth Rachels

Mrs. Brenda Rachels age 75 of Toccoa passed away Thursday February 10, 2022 at Stephens County Hospital.

A daughter of the late Doyle Dewitt Roberts and Ressie Moore, she was born October 10, 1946 in Stephens County, Georgia having lived most of her life in Toccoa. She was a retired LPN of Pruitt Health and Cosmetologist. She attended First Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband John David Goforth and her second husband Al Rachels.

Survivors include daughter Sharon Kellar of Toccoa and daughter and son-in-law Vicki and Joel Ward of Eastanollee, son Danny and Leslie Goforth of Athens; grandchildren include Kayla Mitchell, Brandon Kellar, Matt Kellar, Daniel Kellar, Amanda Hobbs, and Camille Underwood; great grandchildren Hayden Kellar, Emmy Kellar, Daniel Kellar, Ellarae Mitchell, Langston Mitchell, and Mason Hobbs; Brothers and sisters-in-law include Ronnie and Patti Roberts and Stan and Beth Roberts of Toccoa, and one sister Renea Roberts of Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Funeral services will be held Saturday February 12, 2022, 3 o’clock P.M. in the Hillcrest Chapel of the Acree-Davis Funeral Home with The Reverend Bert Watts and The Reverend Brett Sanders officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Brandon Kellar, Matt Kellar, Hayden Kellar, Daniel Mitchell, Daniel Hobbs, and Stanley Roberts.

The family will receive friends at the Acree-Davis Funeral Home on Saturday from 1 P.M. until 2:40 P.M. online condolences may be left for the family at www.acree-davisfh.com.

Interment will follow at Stephens Memorial Gardens. Acree-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Brenda Rachels.
