Betty Harrington Hulsey

Mrs. Betty Harrington Hulsey, age 83, of Gainesville, Georgia, passed away Thursday, February 10, 2022.

Interment will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 in Memorial Park Cemetery prior to the service at the church.

Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 pm Saturday, February 12, 2022 at First Baptist Church of Gainesville. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.

Mrs. Hulsey was born September 19, 1938 in Gainesville, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Young John Harrington and Elizabeth Askew Harrington. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Adler Hulsey, Jr and her sister, Michael Daneen Acres.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Gainesville and was an avid member of the choir.

Mrs. Hulsey is survived by her children, John and Amy Hulsey; Ashley and Ron Minish; grandchildren, Adler and Samantha Hulsey; Campbell Hulsey, Greyson Burke, Sullivan Burke, Mary, Parker and Lexi Minish; great-grandchild, William Hulsey; siblings, Patricia O’Kelley, Kay Armour, and John and Karen Harrington; close family friend, Gary Lacey and a number of other family and friends also survive.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to First Baptist Church of Gainesville Sanctuary Choir, 751 Green Street Gainesville, GA 30501
