Mrs. Maria de Jesus Rios de Martinez, 76, of Gainesville, passed away Sunday, February 6, 2022.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 13, 2022 in the Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home.  Her son, Rev. Jahaziel Martinez Rios will officiate. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence, 1673 Hancock Ave. Ext Gainesville, GA 30501 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 11, 2022 until Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 a.m.

Born on July 1, 1945 in Cadereyta, Jimenez, N-L, Mexico, she was the daughter of the late Jesus Rios and the late Guadalupe Gomez-Rodriguez. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother and great grandmother who loved taking care of her family. Mrs. Martinez was of the Pentecostal faith.

Mrs. Martinez is survived by her husband, Facundo Martinez; daughter, Martha Keila Franco; son, Jahaziel Martinez Rios; daughter, Blanca Neomi Martinez Rios; son Manuel E. Martinez Rios; son, Armando Martinez; daughter, Elizabeth Martinez; son, Jesus Martinez; son, Facundo Cesar Martinez and a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Nacida el 1 de julio de 1945 en Cadereyta, Jiménez, N-L, México, era hija del difunto Jesús Ríos y la difunta Guadalupe Gómez-Rodríguez. Era una cariñosa hija, esposa, madre, abuela y bisabuela a la que le encantaba cuidar de su familia. La Sra. Martínez era de la fe pentecostal.

A la Sra. Martínez le sobreviven su esposo, Facundo Martínez; hija, Martha Keila Franco; hijo, Jahaziel Martínez Ríos; hija, Blanca Neomi Martínez Ríos; hijo Manuel E. Martínez Ríos; hijo, Armando Martínez; hija, Elizabeth Martínez; hijo, Jesús Martínez; hijo, Facundo Cesar Martinez y varios nietos y bisnietos.
