James "Jim" Burdette Fisher

James “Jim” Burdette Fisher, age 64, of Cleveland, GA, passed away suddenly Tuesday, February 8th, 2022.

Jim was born January 11th, 1958 in Waukegan, Illinois. He was a graduate of Grant High School in Fox Lake, Illinois. He proudly served for 4 years in the U.S. Army, some overseas. He is forever proud of our military and deeply loved our country. He also loved gnomes and all his feathered bird friends. Cooking was a great past- time of his, as was laughter, good jokes, animals, his garden and nature.

Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Normandie Carolyn Braun. He is survived by his father, Loren “Jim” Fisher, his beautiful wife of 32 wonderful, adventurous years, Marti Fisher, his step-daughters, Rebecca Fisher, and Stephanie and her husband Allen Shrom. Also survived are his sisters, Cynthia D. Curdt, Lynn M. Carter, Carlyn M Fisher, and sister-in-law, Anita Moore.

He is also survived by his step-brothers, Jim Teasdale and wife Helen, Jeff Teasdale and wife Jerry, and step-sister, Vickie and husband Jim Page, and countless nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews and grandchildren.

He was loved very much by his family and will be truly missed! Jim Fisher's wishes were to be cremated and the family has chosen to remember him everyday with memories they hold close to their hearts. A celebration of his life is currently being planned.
