Michael Ray Gunter

Michael Ray Gunter age 68 of Clayton entered rest Monday Feb. 7, 2022 at the Northeast Georgia Medical Center, Gainesville.

Michael was born March 22, 1953 in Gainesville to the late Ernest & Louise Bradley Gunter. He served his Country in the United States Army, and worked with the Rabun County Government as a heavy equipment operator. He was preceded in death by his sister, Robin Gunter.

Left to cherish his memory, wife, Betty Gunter; son, Matt (Angela) Gunter; daughter, Sonya (Steve) Wood; step-son, Matt Beck; step-daughter, Ragan Beck; grandchildren, Coley, Jackson, Hannah & Christian; step grandchildren, Caleb & Cooper; brothers, Phillip Gunter & Ricky (Jan) Gunter; sisters, Vicki (Arthur) Carver, Patsy Patrick & Deborah (Danny) Owen; several nieces & nephews and other relatives also survive.
